New security patches

March 15, 2017

New security patches by Microsoft, Adobe and VMware were released yesterday. Microsoft patches 18 vulnerabilities across its products, namely Windows, Office, Internet Explorer and Edge. Some of there updates were supposed to be issued last month already. Adobe released updates for Flash Player and Shockwave Player and VMware issued patches for its virtualization software Workstation and Fusion. The security updates are critical since they patch serious vulnerabilities that can lead to remote code execution. It’s recommended to apply the updates as soon as possible.
