We would like to kindly inform you about the end of technical support for Windows XP and possible threats that come along with that. Technical support for operating system have more functions but along with others it is protecting your computer from malware, viruses etc. Since april 8th Microsoft will not be providing the support for Windows XP and their program Microsoft Security Manager will not be available to download either.

Using Windows XP after that date will not be considered as secure. We recommend to find out wheather your computer is capable of upgrading to Windows 7 or 8 and if so, upgrade the system. The advanced users might try using alternative operating system, e.g. one of the linux distributions. Some of these distributions are specially designed for older and less capable PCs.
