CZ.NIC has gained the highest possible recognition of the TF-CSIRT for its security team
The national security team CSIRT.CZ run by the CZ.NIC Association, the administrator of the Czech national domain, has gained “certified” status within the international organization of security teams TF-CSIRT. This is the highest level of verification that a CSIRT/CERT security team can get. Among more than 40 Czech security teams, CSIRT.CZ is the second to boast this prestigious status.
“/The certification process by TF-CSIRT took almost a year, during which we have undergone a rather demanding evaluation process. We perceive the acquisition of this highest possible status as an appreciation of our work in the field of cybercrime prevention,” says Martin Peterka, the operating director of the CZ.NIC Association, which also coordinates the activity of the national security team CSIRT.CZ.
The “certified” status acquisition became possible also thanks to the support of a project co-funded by the EU’s Connecting Europe Facility. Its aim is, among other things, to strengthen the capacity of the national security team CSIRT.CZ, for example in the form of a prestigious international certification of key security analysts.
